About Me
As an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine and Radiology, I believed I understood health — until my own health began to decline during the COVID pandemic. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, PCOS, obesity, diabetes, depression, and other lifestyle-related conditions. It was a wake-up call that made me realize health is much more than medical knowledge.
Determined to find answers, I immersed myself in nutrition, functional medicine, yoga, behaviour change, and holistic wellness. Through my own healing journey, I discovered that lasting health is shaped not just by food and exercise, but also by our mindset, emotions, sleep, relationships, and daily habits. And that's where I connected with the MPESS Framework — a holistic approach that nurtures health through the Mind, Physical, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual dimensions of life.
